“Unity is the only solution against US-Zionist intrigues.”

Grand Ayatollah Mohsen Araki, Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought in a meeting with Sheikh Mohammad Rashid Qabbani, top Lebanese Mufti, stressed the necessity of unity among Muslims and called that the only way to confront hostile plots by enemies, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

He called the plot to rift Muslims as an American-Zionist plan which aims at weakening Islamic nations and said the objective of the US to invade Syria is in the same line.

He said, “Enemies of Islam mean to fuel the fire among Muslims by waging intrigue among different Islamic denominations and spreading Takfiri (excommunicating) measures.”

Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought reiterated boosting unity among Muslim nations as the sole way to foil the plot of the US and Zionists and urged political elites to take serious measures for the aim.

He noted,” We should never ask for help from the enemies to solve the domestic issues of Muslim world because it is in contrast with Islamic principles.”

Sheikh Mohammad Rashid Qabbani in this meeting hailed the congregation of Muslim scholars from both countries to discuss the ways for cooperation and unity among Muslims stressing,” Enemies struggle to spread religious intrigues in the region in a bid to guarantee the security of the Zionist regime and also loot the resources in Islamic countries.”
