Iran-US talks, opportunity to prove power of Islam
Lebanese clerics and Friday prayer orators called Iran- US talks an opportunity to prove the power of Arab and Muslim countries and also a chance to stabilize the situation of Muslim nations.

Top Lebanese scholars expressed their optimism over the possibility of talks between Islamic republic of Iran and the United States of America, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
Seyyed Jafar Fadhl Allah, Friday prayer leader of Hasanain (AS) Mosque in Beirut, stressed his positive view over dialogue between Iran and the US particularly amid the present economic, security and political crisis in the world when global peace is really at risk.
He said,” Violence, killing and revenge taking of the powers is on the rise in Arab and Islamic countries.” and referred to the current situation in Syria, Iraq, Bahrain, Egypt, Libya, Tunisia and other countries in the Middle East region.
He also noted that the Zionist regime is making the best of the current situation for demolition of Palestinian houses, evacuation of the people from their lands, expansion of settlements and Judaisation of Al Quds.
Lebanese cleric expressed regret over anti-Iran lobbying of some Arab countries in Tel Aviv noting,” These countries do not care about Palestine and Al Quds because since long they have forgotten Al Quds leaving its keys to the Zionist regime and are waiting for their own share of it.”
Seyyed Jafar Fadhl Allah noted that the dialogue between Iran and the US has to be performed quite consciously so that it stabilized the stances of Islam and Muslims across the world and added this should not be taken for a dialogue with the Zionist regime.
Sheikh Mahir Hamoud, orator of Al Quds Mosque in Sidon referred to the domestic crisis of the US and said,” A country that tried to dominate the whole world is at the danger of collapse though its damages will not suffice to an economic one but will lead to a cultural collapse of the country soon.”
He added,” It is quite clear that the power of the Zionist regime is a fake one and it comes from the US and its other supporters; therefore, a collapse of the US means collapse of the Zionist regime of Israel.”
Sheikh Afif Nablosi, Prayer leader of Sayyeda Zahra (SA) Complex in Sidon said any closeness of ties between world countries, under the condition that it realizes justice and peace is a pleasant move.
He noted that fulfilling the interests of one particular country, intensification of wars and chaos in economic and political relations between countries will not be solved unless through cooperation of the countries to serve human societies and peace across the world.
Lebanese cleric touched upon a future dialogue between the US and Islamic Republic of Iran and stated,” This dialogue is a proof that the world cannot bear oppression, hostility and interference in the domestic affairs of other countries; therefore, world powers have to obey international and human laws and stop their hostility and ambitions to dominate natural resources or freedom of nations.
He stressed,” It is to the benefit of great powers to hear the voices of the nations and improve their relations through positive and constructive cooperation with other countries.”
