Ayatollah Taskhiri highlights Imam Khomeinis policies

"Imam Khomeni [the late founder of the Islamic Revolution ](RA) underscored reviving the Islamic awakening, returning to Islam and making complete relation between religion and life in his lifetime,” said Head of the world Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri.

“Imam Khomeini(RA) endeavored to grow all the elements of reviving the Islamic awakening in the heart of Muslims,” said the Senior Cleric.

“The enemies of Islam tried to dent the hope in the heart of Muslims,” the Grand Ayatollah Mentioned as underlined, ”but Imam Khomeini(RA) attempted to revive the hope, telling Muslims that the sole way for salvation is returning to Islam.”

“We know that if the strategy of Imam Khomeini for reviving the Islamic awakening have accomplished, naturally all the moves would direct to realization of Quranic consepts.

Head of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought continued,” Quran underlines the issue of proximity among Muslims and underscores each way that leads to making unity in Islamic world.”

“Imam Khomeini directed the policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the path of unity and all of his speeches illustrate this point,” Ayatollah Taskhiri expressed.

The senior cleric said, “Establishing the world Forum for proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought and assigning the week of unity [among shia and sunni factions] were aimed at underscoring the divine path.”
