Blacklisting of IRGC to be followed by reciprocal measure on US army

Seyyed Hussein Naqavi Husseini, member of the Wilayat fraction in Iran’s Parliament, in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) referred to a statement issued by MPs regarding the recent decision made by the US to name Islamic Republic Guards Corps and said to blacklist Iran’s IRGC will lead to reciprocal move by Iran to call American forces in the region as a terrorist group.

He vowed that Iran’s Parliament will pass a double-emergency bill to call the US troops in the Middle East region, US intelligence organizations, Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), Director of National Intelligence (DNI), and also Israel’s Mossad as terrorist groups.

Member of the Wilayat fraction said,” Iranian MPs from all fractions have issued a statement clearly announcing their stance denouncing the US decision” and added,” IRGC is a part of Iranian army risen from within the nation; hence, the decision made by the US is against all international laws.”

He stressed,” No country has the right to sanction the army belonging to other countries and once Washington carries out the decision we will take reciprocal measure to call their army as terrorist group.”

Chairman of the committee on culture reiterated that passing the double emergency plan will call all US forces in the region as terrorists and will face the repercussions of membership in such groups.
