The issue of Muslim youths falsely implicated in terror cases and reservation for the community will figure in the three-day conference of the general body of Jamiat Ulama-I-Hind here, beginning March 6.
During the conference, the body could also take a decision on the fate of Maulana Badruddin Ajmal, MP from Assam as to include him in the organisation, who recently parted way with dissident faction headed by Maulana Arshad Madani, a release issued by the organisation said.
Several Union Ministers including Minister of External Affairs S M Krishna and Minority Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid are also likely to attend the last session of the event on March 8, which will focus on Hajj and Wakf issues.
"The conference is being held at a crucial time when efforts are on by communal forces to harass bonafide Assamese Muslims in the name of foreign intruders, Babri Maszid issue is being provoked for communal polarisation and innocent persons are languishing in prison even after proven not guilty,"
