Delivering a speech in Tanzania, Ayatollah Hussein Nouri Hamedani said,” Recent revolutions in the region derived from the Islamic revolution happened in Iran,” the Ayatollah said referring to the unrest in North Africa and Bahrain, according to Taqrib news Agency (TNA).

Ayatollah Nouri Hamedani pointed to the role of the leadership and Jurisprudence in raising Islamic awakening in the region and highlighted the import role of Islamic scholars in guiding people.

The Grand Ayatollah underscored,” the revolution is the sign of people’s awakening and the governors should be in line with the developments instead of obeying arrogant world powers and the West.”

The ayatollah also highlighted the key role played by clerics in the process of Islamic awakening as underlined,” these movements happened because of the Islamic awakening and derived from Islamic revolution in Iran.”

“Fairness and courageousness are the features of the jurisprudent and the Islamic leader,” the Grand Ayatollah expressed.

Ayatollah nouri Hamedani faced with an encomium in Tanzania and Sunni and Shia scholars gave him a warm welcome.
