Iran’s major scientific program to hold virtual meeting on coronavirus
Iran’s Science and Technology Exchange Program (STEP) has scheduled its seventh meeting on May 18 and 28th discussing “Scientific and Technological Collaboration Facing Coronavirus Challenge” virtually.

This seventh meeting of STEP which is to be held virtually in compliance with the restrictions forced due to the new coronavirus pandemic will discuss the achievements of scientists in Muslim world regarding COVID-19 and launching the platform for cooperation in resolving the pandemic infection, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
Sponsored by the Mustafa (PBUH) Science and Technology Foundation (MSTF), benefiting from a network of specialists and scientists across the globe, is endeavoring to provide the best possible platform via virtual summits on the new pandemic infection which has paralyzed the social, economic and public health sector.
Two-day virtual programs on “Scientific and Technological Collaboration Facing Coronavirus Challenge” is scheduled to be held on May 18, 28.
The two main topics to be discussed in the virtual lectures, meetings, specialized workshops and roundtables on the respective days include “Sharing the Experiences and Observations of Islamic Countries’ Medical Staff in Dealing with COVID-19 and “Scientific Discoveries, Technological Innovations and Strategies Facing Coronavirus Challenges."
Among the prominent attendees of the event are the Mustafa(pbuh)Prize laureates Jackie Ying, UgurSahin, and Hossein Baharvand.
