"Ayatollah Taskhiri, radiant among Islamic proximity pioneers", Afghan movement

Islamic Movement of Afghanistan has released a condolence message over passing of Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri, former secretary general of Iran's World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought.

Islamic Movement of Afghanistan in this message hailed the late advisor of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri radiating among harbingers of Islamic unity and extended sympathy over demise of the top proximity figure, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
Ayatollah Taskhiri was globally admitted as a pioneer of solidarity among Muslims following years of endeavors to promote unity among different Islamic denominations.
 
He had served in several religious and political positions in a span of over five decades.
 
Senior Iranian scholar Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri passed away due to hear disease on Tuesday August 18 and his body was laid to rest in the holy shrine of Hazrat Masoumeh (AS) in Qom.
