New wave of detentions in Bahrain before new PM takes office
A new wave of detentions has begun in Bahrain as the Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad al-Kalifa takes office as the new Prime Minister in the country.

At least 18 Bahraini citizens, including four women, have been detained during the past week over expression of their views on social networks or voicing opposition with Israeli regime.
The detentions happened mainly in night raids launched by security forces to the detainees’ residence across the Persian Gulf Arab country.
Ebtisam al-Saegh, human rights advocate among the four women who has just been detained include two fifty and sixty-year old ladies are ill with chronic diseases.
She noted that wisdom and political rationality are based on solutions away from any violation of human rights.
