Islamic Unity stands against Daeshi diplomacy of division

Conference on "Diplomacy of Islamic Unity in View of Supreme Leader" was held by Iran's University of Islamic Denominations in a virtual session attended by Iranian Shia and Sunni thinkers on Tuesday.

Seyyed Mohammad Husseini, director of the University of Islamic Denominations in Iran referred to history of diplomacy restricted to relations and talks between governments and their representatives and its transformation throughout the time which has involved the thinkers and elites to play an effective role in foreign policies.
 
He also referred to scientific, cultural, media and athletic diplomacy as other types of diplomacy before the Supreme Leader initiating the diplomacy of unity among Muslims.
 
Former minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance in Iran called Islamic unity as a basic discourse since victory of 1979 Islamic Revolution and stated annual Islamic Unity Conference as an instance of that.
 
He noted," The diplomacy of unity stands opposite to the diplomacy of division pursued by foreign countries or some rulers in the Islamic nation" and added," We witnessed an instance of that in Daesh and Takfiri terrorists committing heinous crimes supported by some rulers naming Al-Saud."
 
Seyyed Mohammad Husseini warned of the chaotic situation across the world of Islam and stressed the misbehavior towards Muslims in European countries is division among Muslims.
 
He made the comments in an online conference on "Diplomacy of Islamic Unity in View of Supreme Leader" attended by religious and cultural figures from Iran.
