New Israeli ambassador to UK calls Nakba "popular Arab lie"
Israeli new ambassador to the United Kingdom has called the historical exodus of Palestinians from their ancestral lands by Israelis, globally known as Nakba as "Arab lie" and "a made up story."

42-year-old Tzipi Hotovely, has focused on rejection of the Nakba Day despite global recognition of the day of "disaster" or "catastrophe" as translated from Arabic word Nakba, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
Newly deployed Israeli ambassador to the United Kingdom made the comments in his first speech during an event organized by the Board of Deputies of British Jews in London.

The organization condemned the Board of Deputies for hosting the new Israeli ambassador whose recent remarks has raised outrage.
