Cleric warns of dividing activities by British-style Shia
Member of the Supreme Council at World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought warned of dividing activities by British-style Shia and stressed true Shia maintains respect for other denominations as a principle.

Ayatollah Abbasali Soleimani, senior Iranian cleric, in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) highlighted the Shia community’s respect for all other Islamic denominations and avoids provoking their feelings.
He slammed the British project to produce movie named “The Lady of Heaven” warning that such projects mainly aim to divide Shia and Sunni Muslims.
Representative of the people in Sistan and Baluchistan Province denounced those who disrespect the Shia sanctities in a bid to provoke feelings against the Sunni community and divide Muslims.
He called on Muslims from all denominations to stand vigilant against provocative plans by enemies of Islam.
He also called on Sunni leaders to note that provocative moves carried out under the name of Shia is totally rejected by the community and that British-style Shia should be sued for that.
“Original Shias maintain respect for sanctities of all Islamic denominations, Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and will never disrespect any of Muslim leaders” said the senior cleric.
Ayatollah Abbasali Soleimani, is Iranian Shia cleric, Friday prayer leader of Kashan and former representative of the Supreme Leader in Sistan and Baluchistan Province.
He has also been a member of the supreme council at World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought which is in charge of boosting the fraternal ties between different Islamic denominations.
