As the new coronavirus pandemic has worsened in different countries, Muslim prayer leaders have announced readiness to cooperate with vaccination program and turn mosques into centers for vaccination against COVID-19, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
Yahya Pallavicini, prayer leader of the Great Mosque of Rome in Milan called that a great opportunity for dialogue and cooperation.
He called it necessary to identify which have enough space and management to help with the vaccination program.
 
The prayer leader of lauded that an initiation in line with combatting the pandemic infection.
 
Izzedin Elzir, prayer leader of Florence also announced preparation to help with the coronavirus vaccination program and called for unity in the face the battle challenging Florence and Tuscany.
 
Italy has become the second European country to pass the bleak milestone of 100,000 fatalities from COVID-19. It was the first European country to be hit with the new coronavirus.
