Iran’s Health Minister extends sympathies with Indian counterpart over COVID crisis

Iranian Health Minister, Saeed Namaki, has sent letter to his Indian counterpart, Harsh Vardhan on Sunday to express regret over worsening coronavirus situation in the country announcing preparation of Isalmic Republic to deploy technical help and equipment in battle against the pandemic infection.

Doctor Saeed Namaki in his letter extended sympathy over the concerning number of coronavirus fatalities among the Indian citizens stressing that the current crisis will not be resolved unless with cooperation and compassion by all countries under the light of fair distribution of equipment to world people, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He noted that management of this pandemic will be possible merely by compassion, cooperation and assistance by all countries in the light of equity, elimination of discriminations and sanctions.
 
He highlighted importance of fair distribution of equipment necessary for prevention and treatment of world people in demand as well as the political and economic support of the international organizations and NGOs in battle against the pandemic infection which has already taken lives of more than three million people worldwide.
 
Iranian Health Minister referred to the hardships the Islamic Republic has faced to supply the necessary medicines, vaccine and medical equipment due to the illegal sanctions as well as the challenge caused by the fourth wave of the pandemic infection hailing the domestic findings by Iranian scientists.
 
Saeed Namaki expressed hope that exchange of science, research and production between the two countries can create a brighter horizon for both countries with background of friendly ties.
 
India has been grappled with Tsunami of coronavirus as a shortage of medical facilities has devastated the health system in the country.
