Blast targets Ashura procession in Pakistan, more than five dead
At least five shia mourners have been killed and dozens more injured as powerful bomb blast targets Ashura procession in Pakistan’s eastern province of Punjab.

Five people have been killed and more than 50 others including children have been wounded as a roadside bomb hit the Ashura ceremony in Punjab on Thursday, local police said.
The police also confirmed that the explosion happened when the mourners were coming from al-Zahra University.
Local Shia Muslims held protest following the incident demanding that the perpetrators brought to justice.
Pakistani officials have condemned the attack calling on the government to take security measures at such ceremonies.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack so far.
