Iran’s Foreign Ministry has condemned the latest US treasury sanctions imposed on Iranian entities and individuals.

Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman, Saeed Khatibzadeh, called the new sanctions announced by the US treasury as contradictory behavior on the part of the White House.
 
Saeed Khatibzadeh said the US behavior is not trustworthy when the White House talks of returning to the nuclear deal but follows the policies of former president Donald Trump.
 
He said,” This behavior is a continuation of the failed policy by Donald Trump administration.”
 
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman referred to the maximum pressure policy followed by Donald Trump administration stressing that the policy failed to produce any results or to shake the determination of the Islamic Republic of Iran to defend the security and peace of its nation.
 
The United States Treasury Department has issued a notice on Friday to announce new sanctions against four Iranian individuals and two entities linked to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) repeating its baseless accusations of developing nuclear weapons.
