As protests continued in various Sudanese cities, Prime Minister Abdalla Hamdok was forced to resign, but the Sudanese people are still on the streets to end the military rule in their country.
The people of Khartoum, the capital of Sudan and other cities of the African country protested on Monday evening (February 7, 2022) at the request of the Sudanese resistance committees to reject a military coup in the country.
Troops led by Sudanese Army Commander Abdel Fattah al-Burhan used bullets, tear gas and sound bombs to disperse protesters, injuring dozens of people, some of them in critical condition.
Sudanese demonstrators in Khartoum and other Sudanese cities stressed that the protests would continue until the fall of the military regime in the country.
An important point in the weekly demonstrations of the Sudanese people against the military rule is the large presence of young people in these demonstrations, who, by standing up to the Sudanese military, emphasize the formation of a democratic government in Sudan.
