The Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran met with his Indian counterpart on the sidelines of the 58th Munich Security Conference.

Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, foreign ministers of Iran and India, met on the sidelines of the conference and agreed to expand economic cooperation between the two countries.
Referring to the vast potential for the development and comprehensive expansion of ties between Tehran and New Delhi, Amir-Abdollahian announced Iran's readiness to implement the projects agreed upon between the two countries.
The Iranian and Indian foreign ministers also discussed the latest situation in Afghanistan, emphasizing the two countries' common view on the need for an inclusive government with the participation of all political and ethnic groups in Afghanistan.
Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, for his part, announced New Delhi's readiness to open a credit line for economic and trade cooperation with Iran.
The 58th Munich Security Conference in 2022 is underway in person, with the participation of a limited number of heads of states and ministers of different countries, from February 18 to 20, despite the widespread Omicron variant outbreak.
