Lebanese religious leaders hold interfaith meeting in Tripoli
Christian, Shia and Sunni leaders in the Lebanon's Tripoli have held meeting to stress necessity of solidarity for their shared home country.

Lebanese society (For the Good of You and Me) has held meeting of "Christians and Muslims United for Construction of Home Country" attended by prominent figures from across the Arab country.
Jasmin Qamrawi, chair of the society stressed that the interfaith dialogue between Muslims and Christians is not an option but a necessity calling for strengthening the bridge between the religions.
He added," Unity does not happen unless in diversity amid the prejudice caused by ignorance."
Mary Trez al-Qawal, chair of the bar association of Tripoli noted," If Christians and Muslims in Lebanon understand that one of them is not complete without the other, then peace and cooperation will dominate the relations."
He highlighted importance of interfaith dialogue between Christians and Muslims stressed more focus on interfaith dialogues among them and counted cooperation and compassion as the necessities towards high social, religious and personal objectives.
