Iran attends UNODC commission in Vienna

The annual meeting of the commission of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) kicked off on Monday in Vienna, the European Headquarters of the UN.

Increasing the cultivation, production, and trafficking of drugs in the world, the emergence of designer drugs as well as the mechanisms to fight them was among the pivots of the session.
Iran's Momeni was scheduled to present a lecture in the commission, have a meeting with the Executive Director of the UNODC in Vienna Ghada Wali. 
According to the UN Office, the Islamic Republic's continuous efforts to combat narcotics trafficking came up with the seizure of more than 90 percent of opium, 70 percent of morphine, and 20 percent of world heroin.
