The Spokesman for Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has said that illegal sanctions have become part of the American trend, believing that it is the world's cop.

Khatibzadeh stated: "Illegal sanctions have become part of the American trend, believing that it is the world's cop. International actors and activists also see Biden following Trump's footsteps."
Stressing that arrogance and extravagance do not work, Khatibzadeh noted that the United States must accept that it must enter into negotiations on the basis of equal rights.
Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman also spoke about Iran-Saudi relations: "We are ready for the talks to continue and for the disagreements to be resolved. We have submitted our comments in writing to the Saudi side, and they should express their views."
Khatibzadeh said: "Afghanistan is facing many problems today and the people of this country are under pressure and hardship. Mr. Amir- Abdollahian explicitly stated that it is not acceptable for the basic rights of their children and daughters to be ignored and that we should try to help Afghanistan get through this period of transition."
