He highlighted that the United States is trying to intervene on any issue related to Iran, showing how far the US is from Joe Biden's claims.
"What we are doing is in the definite interests of the Iranian people," he said.
"During a visit, a delegation came and an agreement was reached on the release of part of Iran's resources, and it is none of the United States' business, nor will we allow the US to go into details," the Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson underlined.
Regarding the Ukrainian ambassador's remarks in Tehran that the Iranians did not help Ukraine, Khatibzadeh said that the Ukrainian ambassador should read the tweet of the Ukrainian Foreign Minister once again to understand the positions of his government.
Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman elsewhere stated that Iran and Iraq can have unlimited relations and can expand them as they wish.
Responding to Iran Press' question, Saeed Khatibzadeh stated that several bilateral and international issues are underway between Iran and Iraq.
"Shalamcheh rail way project is one of the most important issues which is being followed besides several other projects right now," he said.
"Also, we are negotiating about facilitating citizen’s commute and issuing visa," the spokesperson added.
Referring to regional issues, he said Iraq has a key role in this regard, especially in Iran-Saudi Arabia talks.
He also referred to the Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein's trip to Iran and said: "In this trip, we expressed our worrisome about active terrorist groups in Iraq and warned about the country’s soil abuse for terrorist activities."
"According to an Iraqi Network, a meeting of the Iraqi Ministry of Energy Council was held yesterday
and during the meeting, Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kazemi ordered a team from the Iraqi Ministry of Electricity to travel to Iran and consult on gas imports," Khatibzadeh announced.
