Russia's permanent representative to the United Nations condemned the destruction of Palestinian homes and the confiscation of their property and lands by Israel.

He noted: "We will continue to contact and communicate with Israel and the Palestinians with the aim of resuming the peace talks."
The Russian ambassador added: "Israel's plan to develop settlements in the occupied Golan Heights threatens the stability of the region."
Referring to the Ukraine crisis, Nebenznia also stressed that talking about Russia's role in rising food prices is an attempt to divert attention from unilateral measures and sanctions imposed on Russia.
