Iran's new envoy to Iraq pays tribute to Gen. Soleimani
Iran's new ambassador to Iraq paid tribute to counter-terrorism commanders Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi Muhandis outside Baghdad International Airport at the beginning of his mission in the neighboring country.

Mohammad Kazem Al'e Sadeq, has begun his mission as Iran's new ambassador to Baghdad visiting the place where counter-terrorism commanders General Soleimani and Abu Mahdi Muhandis were martyred in the US strike in early 2020, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
Iran's new ambassador slammed the brutal crime by the United States in targeting the convoy of top Iranian and Iraqi commanders.
He arrived in the Iraqi capital Baghdad on Tuesday afternoon and was welcomed by Iranian and Iraqi officials.
As a former member of Iran's diplomatic mission in Iraq, Mohammad Kazem Al'e Sadeq will serve as Iran's new ambassador to Iraq after Iraj Masjedi.
Born in the holy city of Najaf, Al'e Sadeq is a commander of Iran's IRGC Quds Force and a former close friend to martyr Soleimani.
