The European Union's Iran nuclear talks coordinator Enrique Mora was "retained" by the German police at the Frankfort airport.

No one knows why they have been stopped, but Mr. Mora confirmed it in a tweet on his page and wrote: "Retained by the German police at the Frankfort airport on my way to Brussels, back from Teheran. Not a single explanation. An EU official on an official mission holding a Spanish diplomatic passport. Took out my passport and my phones."
"Now released along with my two colleagues, the EU Ambassador to UN Vienna and the head of the EEAS Iran task force. We were kept separated. Refusal to give any explanation for what seems a violation of the Vienna Convention," the diplomat added.
Enrique Moura and his accompanying delegation had traveled to Iran to meet with the officials in Tehran to discuss the resumption of the JCPOA agreement.
Iran has announced that the JCPOA-related talks are over, and now it is up to the United States to decide as a country that has violated the agreement.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh told reporters at a news conference on Monday: "Mr. Mora's mission is to coordinate the JCPOA, and nothing new will happen."
"While still waiting for continuing my trip to Brussels I want to underline that in Tehran I raised the need to stop the execution of Ahmadreza Jalali and asked for his release on humanitarian grounds," Mora underscored.
"Mr. Jalali has been arrested and convicted for espionage and has caused a lot of damage to Iran. Investigations by intelligence and security agencies indicate that some Western countries and Israel helped him in this mission," Khatibzadeh noted.
