Cultural heritage serving identity of Iranian nation
The Minister of Heritage, Culture, Tourism, and Handicrafts noted that cultural heritage was Iran's identity and the most important factor of its unity and cohesion.

Referring to the potential of cyberspace, the top official said: "Cyberspace also has its drawbacks, especially those who have products that focus more on superficial and ephemeral work, and less on content and concentrated contemplation. For this reason, I recommend cyberspace activists to produce content in the field of cultural heritage with more depth."
"The first thing we did in managing cultural heritage was to conduct a comprehensive research, address the most important cultural heritage issues and divide them into three sections, and analyze the ways to solve cultural heritage issues through various meetings with experts," he added.
Regarding the situation of museums, he said: "Out of 760 museums, 500 are public museums and the rest are for individuals and collectors. I often take the time to open them because people are interested".
He added six more museums under construction.
Concerning the exploration of historical monuments also he went on to say that a large part of the historical monuments was endowed and stressed: "The Endowment and Charity Organization is responsible in this regard, and a memorandum of understanding was signed to start restoration measures with the endowment money."
