Iran's Minister of Foreign Affairs in his latest tweet warned: "Those who push for anti-Iran resolution at IAEA will be responsible for all the consequences"
Submitting a joint draft resolution to the IAEA Board of Governors, claiming that the non-resolution of uranium-related issues found at undeclared sites is a matter of grave concern, Amir-Abdollahian stated.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, tweeted on Monday morning, on the eve of the meeting of the IAEA Board of Governors, about his recent telephone conversation with EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell, saying: "We welcome a good, strong and lasting agreement. It's within reach if US/E3 are realistic."
He added: "If the founders of the anti-Iranian resolution in the International Atomic Energy Agency follow the threat method, they are responsible for all the consequences."
"We welcome a good, strong and lasting agreement," he said, noting, "An agreement is available if the United States and the three European countries are realistic."
Earlier, in a telephone call with EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell, Amir-Abdollahian warned: "Any political action by the United States and the three European countries in the IAEA will undoubtedly meet with a proportionate, effective and immediate response from Iran."
Western countries, and especially the United States, have continued their media and psychological operations since the interruption of the Vienna talks to resort to various excuses to blame Iran instead of fulfilling their commitments to revive Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action.
