Pakistani elites stress key role of Islamic unity in settling Muslim world issues
Pakistani Shia and Sunni thinkers met with Iranian delegation from the Organization of Culture and Islamic Communications in Quetta on Thursday stressing the important role of Islamic unity in gaining victory against enemies of Islam.

Hussein Rouzbeh, deputy of cultural and international communications at Iran's Organization of Culture and Islamic Relations and the delegation of Iranian thinkers met with a group of Shia and Sunni clerics in Quetta, north-west of Baluchistan province, highlighting the grounds for cultural and educational cooperation with the neighboring country Pakistan, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
Iranian official said Islamic unity means to boost the necessary security to move the people towards justice.
Seyyed Hussein Taqizadeh Vaqefi, director of Iran's cultural house in Quetta also expressed his views on ways for expanding interfaith meetings and literary sessions to promote Persian language learning inPakistan.
Religious figures from Quetta stressed the key role of unity among Shia and Sunni scholars, Imam Khomeini (RA) movement in freedom from oppression, Islamic solidarity, necessity of unity to settle the issues in the world of Islam and also fighting the enemies of Islam.
Top Sunni clerics Mawlana Anvar al-Haq Haqqani, Friday prayer leader of Kandahari Mosque, Mawlana Shah Habib Allah Chashti, emir of Jamaat and Sunna, Mawlana Abdul Haq Hashemi, emir of Islamic society in Baluchistan province and senior Shia scholars Hujjat-ul-Islam Seyyed Hashem Mousavi prayer leader of Alamdar Roud, Mousa Husseini prayer leader and orator, Seyyed Nasrallah Husseini and also Seyyed Reza Akhlaqi, prayer leader of Fatemeh Al-Zahra Mosque were among the Pakistani participants in this interfaith meeting with Iranian delegation.
