India police demolishes properties of protesters against desecration of Prophet Mohammad

Police in Uttar Pradesh have razed down properties belonging to three Muslims allegedly attending protests against desecration of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) under pretext of illegal construction, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
This is while the police have announced 230 people linked with the protests following Friday unrests have been detained in some cities across the country.
Nationwide protests against sacrilegious remarks by BJP spokeswoman Nupur Sharma and head of the the BJP media Naveen Jindal has continued across the country as protesters demand detention of the two officials.
Kanpur police has published videos showing demolition of four-story building belonging to Mohammad Ishtiyaq linked with Zafar Hayat Hashmi main accused in the recent protests.
Police announced that two people have been killed amid the violent protests sparked following the desecration of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
