Iran, Pakistan deep- rooted ties are source of hope, FM says
In a joint presser with his Pakistani counterpart, Iran's Minister of Foreign Affairs on Tuesday has said that the deep rooted ties between Iran and Pakistan as two great countries in Muslim world has been source of hope all these years.

He added that the two sides have established a new relationship based on the development of cooperation.
The FM noted: "Today we talked about bilateral relations and cooperation and border markets and the development of local trade and provincial cooperation by adopting common approaches and political positions between Tehran and Islamabad.”
Iran's Foreign Minister added that the two sides talked about cultural-tourism cooperation in the international arena, as well as economic and trade talks. The issue that has been between the two countries for a long time is the issue of gas exports from Iran to Pakistan and the increase in exports to this country. We talked about this.
Amir-Abdollahian noted that despite US unilateral sanctions, there are mechanisms in the international arena that we hope will be able to continue cooperation in the best possible way.
Amir-Abdollahian said that regional issues such as Afghanistan and Palestine were also the focus of bilateral talks, adding: "We are against the war in Ukraine and we want to try between Iran and Russia and Ukraine to resolve this crisis."
The Iranian Foreign Minister says: "Islamic governments must be united in the face of the Zionist regime's threatening and hostile actions against the Islamic world."
"Iran has never escaped the negotiating table, and we believe that negotiation and diplomacy are the best ways to reach an agreement.", Iran's top said.
"Important steps were taken in [Ali] Bagheri's talks with [Enrique ] Moura and the P4+1 in Vienna. The messages were exchanged between Iran and the United States during this time, showing that we are in talks and in favor of a good, strong and lasting agreement."
"While the United States is sending messages to Iran, it also supports an anti-Iranian resolution in the Board of Governors," he said.
"Iran, in response, increased its nuclear activities, and Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI), has informed the Secretariat of the International Atomic Energy Agency in Vienna," the top diplomat highlighted.
