Iran appointed new ambassador and the permanent representative for the United Nations office in Vienna and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

Naziri is PhD in international law, and was  ambassador and former Permanent Representative of Iran to the United Nations Office at Geneva, serving in several missions in international organizations.

 
Mohsen Naziri Asl was also a senior advisor to the Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs.
