FM: Islamic resistance determined to defend inalienable rights of nations of region
Iran's foreign minister said in a meeting with the secretary general of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement that the Islamic resistance will firmly defend the inalienable rights of the nations of the region and Palestine under the shadow of strengthening cohesion, solidarity and internal unity.

Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, in his meeting with Ziyad al-Nakhalah, Secretary General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement, emphasized the continuation of the Islamic Republic of Iran's principled and steadfast policies and positions in support of the cause of Palestinian freedom and the resistance of the oppressed Palestinian people against the Apartheid Zionist regime's aggression and expansionism.
Referring to the failures of the Zionist regime and the United States against the resistance and the emergence of new conditions for the Palestinians, Amir-Abdollahian expressed hope that by strengthening the convergence between Islamic countries, he would witness the failure of the enemies in diminishing the holy ideal of the freedom of Palestine and the Holy Quds.
Ziyad al-Nakhalah, the Secretary General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement, also expressed his satisfaction with his trip to Tehran and meeting with Amir-Abdollahian, honoring the memory of Late Imam Khomeini and the martyred leaders of resistance, including LT General Soleimani, and praised the continuous support of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the leader from the resistance of the Palestinian people.
The Secretary General of the Islamic Jihad of Palestine expressed his regret for some efforts to exert pressure on the Islamic Republic of Iran and downplay the real threat of the Zionist regime to the interests of the Islamic Ummah and the Palestinian issue, the efforts and positions of the Islamic Republic in confronting the system of domination and supporting the oppressed nations, against the invaders and foreign powers, and considered it a promise of good and blessing and strength for the resistant nation of Palestine and weakening the front of the enemies of the Islamic world.
Ziyad al-Nakhalah also pointed to the history of the Zionist regime in violating all its commitments and agreements in the reconciliation process, and considered resistance as the only option for the Palestinian people to assert their rights and expel the occupiers from the Palestinian land, and emphasized the continuation of this path.
