Islamic Revolution, threat against domineering system

Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei in this meeting noted that the imposed war against Iran was in fact the domineering system’s revenge for resistance of the Iranian nation, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

Supreme Leader stressed,” Victory of the Islamic Revolution was not a temporary political failure for the US and the domineering powers but a threat for their empire.”

According to the Leader all countries who fought Islamic Republic during the imposed Iran-Iraq war had later admitted their involvement in the war.

“Attacking Iran by these countries was quite natural since they were irked by victory of the Islamic Revolution” noted the Leader and added,” Islamic Revolution made achievements that even we had not noted then.”

Ayatollah Khamenei enumerated the power and resolution of Islamic Revolution, leadership of late Imam Khomeini (RA) and also Iranian

nation as three factors that turned the threat to an opportunity for Iran.

The Leader referred to disintegration of Iran and separation of southern province of Khouzestan as ambitions pursued by former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein in attacking Iran and hailed the people in Khouzestan for their all-out defense of the region.

Supreme Leader noted that the next objective of the domineering powers in waging war against Iran was to bring Iranian nation to its knees in a bid to give a lesson to other nations and put an end to resistance.

Ayatollah Khamenei referred to “unity of Iranian nation” as an achievement for Iranian nation during the imposed war.

The Leader reiterated that Iran has reached a phase of deterrence aware of its power as the enemies are also acknowledged.

A group of commanders and war veterans during the Holy Defense against Saddam Baath regime as well as a group of the families of the martyrs attended the meeting with Ayatollah Khamenei at Imam Khomeini's Husseiniyya (RA) on Wednesday morning.
