Muslims, at all times, are in pressing need of unity within the Islamic Ummah but today, given the great challenges all Islamic Ummah is facing, this pressing need is felt more than ever before and all Muslims whether in west, east, Africa or other parts of the world are feeling this pressing need as real quest. It is with the same respect that the Holy Quran stipulates: “Muhammad, the Apostle of Allah, and those who are with Him are hard against the faithless and merciful amongst themselves.”
the Holy Quran is guiding us in this way towards further unity among the Islamic Ummah. But the West, in view of the influence and the capacity of the Holy Quran and influence and capacity of sublime Islamic religious teachings and divine and ethical values of Islam has reached to this conclusion that if Muslims get united, they will make a huge force threatening interests of west and those of the super powers. Therefore, whether countries headed by the United States and UK or other western countries all are trying to tarnish the real image of Islam showing it as a volent religion without wisdom and logics preventing its influence upon the human societies particularly in the west. Today, western scholars admit that Islam is the world's fastest growing religion today that if they do not take any measures against its spread within the next forty years, number of the Muslim population living in countries like Germany and France will supersede followers of other religions in those countries. This is, of course, a true claim based on available statistics and evidence. It is also to be noted that the more technologies become advanced in the west the more the human science and ethics that comes from the human nature is falling and degrading.
In another word, we are witnessing that, today, the humanitarian values in the west and by extent the whole world are losing their status turning the human societies into wild ones. Unfortunately, sublime human values have not been able to grow in line with the new technologies in the west turning the human societies into new human jungles wherein the ethical and humanitarian values have harshly declined; the societies wherein money and power have the say disregarding humanity, ethics and the pure human nature.
And these are the societies wherein the Islamic identity, human identity, and pleasant attributes cannot exist. These are the societies wherein you cannot enjoy a peaceful and secure life. The more technologies get advanced, the more western people become separated from their own self, living only for money and welfare. For the same reason we, today, can see that one church is closed on each day in the west because churches cannot meet religious and ethical requirements of the people any more. In another word within a single year about three hundred sixty churches will get closed. And this is the reality irrespective of the related schools.
