“Islamic unity will lead to peace”, Iranian professor

Iranian professor explained that when we talk about unity, it means gathering around one person but Islamic unity means all Muslims gather together and stay beside each other, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

“The Islamic unity will breed peace that is against war. For peace in Islam there are adjectives like “peace is good.” we cannot use the adjective “good” for war. There is no good in war” he said.

He noted that with peace reform can be done and added “reform means promoting human society affairs firstly, and the Islamic society, secondly. Therefore, if we realize the Islamic unity, we can live in peace together and we can enjoy reform within our society.”

“This indicates that avoidance of division and conflict and the unity is a human necessity and religious responsibility” Doctor Veisi continued.

“But the most practical and effective act and executive mechanism for realization of unity, integration, peace and management of the society affairs whether human one, in its general term, and the Islamic one is to accept other people's ideas and ideologies respecting them” he concluded.
