Culture Minister says Raisi Administration's policy to expand ties with neighbors
Iran's Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance said that the policy of the Iranian administration is to expand relations with neighboring countries.

Esmaili said: "Considering the cultural commonalities between Iran and Türkiye, it is necessary for the two countries to be together in order to converge in the Islamic world, and the success of each of these two countries is considered the success of two friendly and neighboring countries in the region."
Iran's Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance stated: "Türkiye and Iran have common enemies who are trying to prevent the countries of the Islamic world from being united with each other so that their relationship would not be developed."
The Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance of Iran noted that the virtual space and the efforts of the Western media are tarnishing the image of the Islamic world in the eyes of the public.
The Spokesman of the Türkiye Presidential Palace and the chairman of 12th Conference of the Information Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Fahrettin Altun for his part said: "Foreign forces have endangered the security of the region and the cooperation of two friendly and neighboring countries, Türkiye and Iran, can be effective in solving the problems of the region."
Fahrettin Altun expressed his hope that the MoU on bilateral media cooperation between Türkiye and Iran will be signed during the upcoming visit of the presidents of the two countries.
Iran's Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance also attended a dinner hosted by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and met with him.
The 12th Conference of the Information Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), is underway on October 21 and 22 in Istanbul, Türkiye.
The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) is the second intergovernmental organization after the United Nations, with the membership of 57 countries spanning more than four continents.
