Al-Salaam Islamic Center in London has announced beginning construction of grand center of cultural and religious activities for the Shia community in the British capital.

Al-Salaam center in Mahfil Ali organization has issued a statement to announce construction of center especially for religious and cultural activities of Shias living in London, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
The center announced that after completion of foundation and basement, the next phase in construction of the center has begun.
The project has reportedly begun early in last October and is expected to be completed by the New Year 2024.
The objective behind construction of the center is to transcend the spiritual, mental and physical aspects in Shia Muslims and to meet the ideological demands of the religious minority group in the country.
The building is constructed in a 5’000-meter land only two minutes from North Harrow tube station.
The center includes praying hall, multi-purpose hall, library, restaurant, gym, studio, auditorium, classrooms and other service centers.
