The initial procession of the 17-year-old martyr Haitham Mubarak moved from Palestine Hospital in Ramallah to his home in Beitunia town, where his mother bade him a final farewell.
Later, the mourners took the martyr in a procession of cars to his hometown (Abu Falah) in northern Ramallah before performing the funeral prayer at a local Mosque and then laying him to rest at the village cemetery.
During the procession, the mourners chanted slogans in support of the Palestinian resistance calling for response to crimes committed by the occupations state.
Yesterday, the Israeli occupation army handed over the martyr’s body to the Palestinian Red Crescent after withholding it for over two months.
He was shot dead by Israeli soldiers at the entrance of Beitin village, east of Ramallah, on September 8.
