Pres. Raisi says principle of transparency rooted in Islamic culture
Iran's President has said that the principle of transparency is not an imported principle and has rooted in religious and Islamic culture.

"The basis of this approach is that people should be aware of information, contracts and agreements, and social and cultural activities."
Emphasizing that the personal and private sphere of people is not a place to enter and privacy should be respected, the president added that the people are always transparently informed by actions of executive bodies and legislative institutions and the Islamic Republic of Iran has kept the people in the course of the law from the very beginning.
Raisi stated that in the judicial branch, the investigation is not public, but when the verdict is issued and the guilt of the person is clear to the judge, the law has decreed transparency.
"The constitution has placed the handling of court matters on transparency, except in cases where it is up to the judge."
Raisi emphasized the establishment of electronic government and moving towards a smart government for more transparency in the administrative system and stated: "The more transparency, the more corruption of unhealthy relationships avoided."
Elsewhere, the President did not consider the rate of progress of electronic government favorable and stated that it is about 25% and added: "We must move towards the establishment of a smart government."
The president called the comprehensive trade system, the system for issuing electronic versions among the measures taken in the field of transparency and stated:" Transparency prevents any corruption in working system."
Referring to the fact that in the 13th administration, according to the report of the Iranian National Tax administration, 2 million people have been added to the number of taxpayers, he pointed out: This increase shows transparency because tax evasion is one of the country's problems.
