Iraqi resistance names Ayat. Khamenei, Gen. Soleimani key supporters of counter-terrorism campaign

Iraqi resistance movement Nujaba has issued a statement on the fifth anniversary of defeat of ISIL terrorist group in the country stressing the Supreme Leader of Islamic Republic, Ayatollah Khamenei and Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani as most remarkable supporters of fight against terrorism.

Nujaba movement in its statement referred to the different steps for empowerment of the destructive terrorist group Daesh and condemned foreign supporters for supplying the terrorist group with massive financial and logistic assistance, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
The statement noted that,” The uprising of the Islamic resistance in Hashd al-Shaabi (Popular Mobilization Units) led to a change in the equations and added,” The honorable Iraqi nation who voluntarily arrayed in popular mobilization groups cannot forget those who supported them in their tough moments, the most remarkable among them are the Supreme Leader of Islamic Republic who spared no support and deployed the brave commander of Islam, Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani to us.”
 
Al-Nujaba also hailed Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) and Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah for standing next to the martyred deputy of Hashd al-Shaabi, Abu Mahdi Muhandis among unforgettable supporters of Iraq.
 
Iraqi resistance movement stressed importance of efforts for maintaining the courage, unity, popularity and also boosting ties with loyal supportive groups and said,” Here we take this chance to reiterate our stance in rejection of occupation and believe that the most effective way against that is nothing but military option.”
