Twitter account @hureyaksa (Towards Freedom) has referred to incapability of the UAE in admitting the failure of efforts for normalization being rejected by the Arab community during Qatar World Cup 2022, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
“United Arab Emirates could not get over the shock of Israeli failure in promoting normalization among the people” said the twitter user and added,” On the sideline of the Qatar World Cup, the people from Arabs and non-Arabs did not admit the presence of Israeli nationals and refused to interview with them. So, what has the UAE been doing up to now?”
Several television channels and social media reports have shown football fans attending the Qatar World Cup 2022 refusing to speak with Israeli reporters.
Channel 12’s reporter admitted that almost all Arab fans they met and introduced themselves to generally refused to speak the moment they found the nationality of the television team.
