Iran FM briefed about health status of ambassador, staff to China

Following the intensification of the COVID-19 pandemic in China and the hospitalization of the ambassador and 6 colleagues of the Iranian embassy, Iran's Minister of Foreign Affairs contacted the ambassador and inquired about the health status of him and his colleagues.

 In this call, Amir- Abdollahian appreciated the assistance of the Chinese host in this regard.
 
During the telephone call, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Beijing expressed his appreciation for the call of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and he assured that in the light of the comprehensive effort to contain COVID-19 the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran performs the assigned duties with all its capacity in order to secure the interests of Islamic Iran.
