Hamas Movement mourned, in a statement issued on Thursday, the Palestinian teenage boy Amer Abu Zeitoun, 16, who was extrajudicially killed by the Israeli occupation forces in the Balata refugee camp in Nablus city.
"We confirm that the Palestinian people will continue to stand steadfast against the Israeli occupation’s crimes and violations," the statement said.
Hamas reiterated that resisting the occupation is a legitimate right in their quest for freedom as stipulated in UN Resolution 37/43, dated December 3, 1982, which reaffirms “the legitimacy of the struggle of peoples for independence, territorial integrity, national unity and liberation from colonial and foreign domination and occupation by all available means, including armed struggle.”
Earlier Thursday, a Palestinian teenager has been killed during an Israeli military raid in Balata refugee camp in the northern occupied West Bank city of Nablus.
