Mufti of Oman urges international organizations to aid Indian Muslims
Omani grand mufti has called on the international human rights groups and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to react on persecution of Indian Muslims.

Sheikh Ahmad bin Hamad al-Khalili, in a post on his tweeter, referred to the “catastrophic” situation of Muslim Indians criticizing the inaction of world organizations, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He addressed the OIC and other international organizations demanding if the rights of Muslims have been ignored even among them when they do not react to violation of their rights?
Omani cleric also asked,” When the world conscience will awaken? When will the Muslims awaken? How much have we been hopeful! May that happens soon.”
Indian authorities have issued the orders for demolition of homes displacing 4,500 families in northern parts of the country the majority of them Muslims under the pretext of constructing railway.
Council of Indian Muslims confirmed that the majority of homes belong to Muslims adding that the destruction will soon begin under protection of nearly 7,000 police forces.
Nearly 154 million Muslim live in India comprising 14 per cent of the population in the country with the biggest Muslim majority in the world.
