FM reassures Iran's readiness to clarify dimensions of attack on Azerbaijani embassy

While conveying President Raisi's message to his Azerbaijani counterpart, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said: "The Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to cooperate to clarify the dimensions of the incident".

The Minister of Foreign Affairs added: "I also conveyed the message of condolence of Ayatollah Raisi in a phone call with my colleague Jeyhun Bayramov.
Amir-Abdollahian noted: "The Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to cooperate to clarify the dimensions of the incident".
He said: "I offer my condolences to the government and nation of our brother and neighbor for this tragic incident."
Yesterday morning (Friday), an assailant with personal reasons attacked the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Tehran, which led to the death of one member of the embassy and the wounding of two others.
The Iranian officials are seriously investigating this incident.
