Leader stresses economic growth, maintaining Iran’s regional, global stance
Supreme Leader of Islamic Republic, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei met with a group of Iranian entrepreneurs, manufacturers and knowledge-based researchers on Monday morning stressing economic growth as the grounds based on which the regional and global stance of Iran should be maintained.

Ayatollah Khamenei stressed that the bright future ahead of Iran summons swift and constant growth to be made in the field of economy and enumerated the reasons and necessities for economic advancements to be made in the country.
The Leader hailed the optimism and remarkable endeavors by Iranian entrepreneurs and manufacturers and said the prospects of Iranian nation is brighter considering the talents, capabilities, natural and human resources as well as the geopolitical opportunities which are “exceptional” in some cases.
Ayatollah Khamenei said naming of the year 1401 as “knowledge-based production and job creation” was a result of a previous meeting with manufacturers and noted,” The exhibition of domestic products held two days ago illustrates the remarkable job done in line with the motto of the year.”
Supreme Leader enumerated the reasons behind necessity of swift and constant actions to be taken in the field of economy the first of which being: elimination of poverty and financial issues of the people and guaranteeing welfare for all.
The Leader referred to necessity of transcending Iran in the regional and global economic arena and also creation of job for the unemployed university graduates.
Ayatollah Khamenei counted “increasing investments for production” and “advancement of production” as two important bases for Iran’s economic growth.
Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei underlined “advancement of knowledge and technologies” as a necessity for economic growth calling on the universities as well as the scientific and research centers to attend to them.
The Leader also named “improving efficiency” in all sections and “competitiveness of products and services”, in higher quality and lower prices, among necessities to be maintained in line with economic growth in Iran.
“Improvement of the workplaces” and “elimination of lengthy bureaucracy” were the other key guidelines highlighted by the Supreme Leader in his address to the entrepreneurs and manufacturers in Monday meeting.
14 entrepreneurs and manufacturers in the field of medical, dental and pharmacology equipment, engineering, wood and cellulose industries, agriculture and aquaculture, renewable energies, petroleum, artificial intelligence, digital marketing and textile industries delivered speech and provided reports to the Supreme Leader.
