Iran warns against IAEA politicization

The spokesman of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran said that the duty of the members of the International Atomic Energy Agency is to take care of its professional status and they should not allow this international organization to be abused for political purposes.

 Behrooz Kamalvandi, the spokesman of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, said on Sunday: "The published material is smearing campaign and distortion of the facts, and the presence of uranium particles above 60% in the enrichment process does not mean enrichment above 60%."
Stating that the Islamic Republic of Iran has not had enrichment above 60%, Kamalvandi stressed: "Unfortunately, the IAEA has turned to a tool of pressure and this kind of performance has a negative effect on the credibility and prestige of this important international organization."
The spokesman of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran said:
 
"The Zionist regime and arrogant countries misuse the conditions governing the IAEA the most, while the duty of the members of the IAEA is to take care of its professional status and they should not allow this international organization to be abused for political purposes."
