The spokesman of Iran's Foreign Ministry elsewhere said: "Iran is committed to the NPT and the Comprehensive Safeguard Agreement, and Iran's professional cooperation with the IAEA is an important principle for the Islamic Republic of Iran in its relations and cooperation with the Agency."
In his presser on Monday, Nasser Kanaani noted, "Of course, in return, we expect the IAEA to behave professionally in connection with Iran's peaceful nuclear activities and adhere to the principles and frameworks of professional and specialized cooperation with member countries, including Iran."
Kanaani added: "Political use of the IAEA distorts the professional position of this important international organization. Raising issues like this, which should be discussed in technical and specialized communications and bilateral meetings in the media is a sign that the IAEA is distancing itself from its professional behavior and professional status. We strongly reject the use of the nuclear watchdog as a tool to abuse it in the process of sanctions lifting negotiations."
The spokesman stated: "The framework of negotiations related to the lifting of unilateral and oppressive sanctions against Iran and the responsible return of all parties to the agreement is clear and should be continued in the same framework, and we hope that the agency will do so within the framework of its professional and specialized duties assigned to in connection with the nuclear agreement."

In response to a question about the Munich security conference, he said: "A conference held in the name of security should provide a balanced platform for different and global views. If there is to be an exchange of views about international security, destroying the opportunity for countries, especially effective countries in the international scene, and creating a platform for a few to present unilateral views is the same unilateralist behavior that some countries want to follow in international politics, and this is not helpful approach for international peace and security. In particular, they provided an opportunity for some well-known people and currents who both had anti-security functions and were the puppets of some countries in their interventionist and anti-security behaviors against other countries. "
In response to another question about the Zionist regime's claim about Iran's attack on an oil tanker belonging to this regime, Kanaani continued by saying that "we strongly reject such an accusation. This regime is used to making accusations like its main supporter, the US government. We are among the most effective countries in maintaining the security and freedom of navigation in international waters. Iran will continue its efforts in maintaining the security and freedom of navigation in international waters and is among the countries that has played a very effective and decisive role in this field so far."

The spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated: "We are among the countries that emphasize the necessity of creating comprehensive security for all countries in order to use shipping opportunities in international waters, but a regime that endangers the security of others and does not adhere to the security of others exposes itself to mutual threats."
