“Arrogant powers’ support for terrorists multiplies their wickedness”, cleric

Representative of the Leader in Iraq condemned the world arrogant powers for supporting the terrorist and Takfiri (excommunication) groups in Iraq warning that the support intensifies the negative impacts of their activities in the Arab country.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Seyyed Mojtaba Husseini, welcoming the Iranian delegation to the International Islamic Unity Conference in Iraq, noted the limited number of terrorists and Takfiri groups in Iraq and said the negative impacts of these groups are multiplied because of the support they receive from arrogant powers, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He said,” We are all aware that Iraq is the key target of enemies to divide Muslims; therefore, we have launched a thinktank with a group of Iraqi dignitaries and are pursuing ways to foil hostile plots.”
 
Representative of Ayatollah Khamenei in Iraq said,” The arrogant powers are always seeking division between the Shias and Sunnis though their intrigues have all been thawed by the Islamic Republic of Iran.”
 
Senior Iranian cleric praised the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought over efforts to introduce the Islamic denominations.
 
Hujjat-ul-Islam Seyyed Mojtaba Husseini made the remarks in a meeting with Iranian delegation attending the International Islamic Unity Conference in Baghdad.
