Ties between Tehran, IAEA on right track, FM says

The Minister of Foreign Affairs emphasized in a telephone call with the High Coordinator of the European Union's foreign policy that the relations between Tehran and the IAEA are on the right track.

 Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said in this telephone call about Ukraine: "We have already discussed the root of the current situation in Ukraine and Iran's opposition to the war".
 
The Minister of Foreign Affairs announced his readiness to continue efforts to achieve peace in his upcoming trip to Moscow and added: "Instead of repeating baseless accusations against Iran, the West should encourage Ukraine to present evidence at the official meeting of the political and military delegations of the two countries and replace the official dialogue with baseless and repeated accusations and observe that Iran has always sided with peace and not war."
 
Amir-Abdollahian elsewhere noted: "The relations between Tehran and the IAEA are on the right track".
 
The Minister of Foreign Affairs also criticized Joseph Burrell regarding the incorrect coverage of the news and the content of his tweets.
 
In this call, Joseph Burrell also emphasized his efforts as a coordinator in order the Vienna talks and the practical initiative to bring the talks to a conclusion.
 
He added: "Despite the statements about the Iranian drone in the Ukraine war, I appreciate Iran's efforts to help achieve peace in the region."
 
Burrell called the cooperation between Iran and the IAEA a positive and forward step.
 
In this call, the parties paid attention to the latest status of the dialogue to lift the sanctions.
